Ethics Matter

I think we would all agree ethics matter. Franchisors want to know their franchisees will run an ethical and principled business, thus providing credibility at the local level and protecting brand equity. Can you really know a franchisee will uphold your standards and principles? Yes. There are numerous clues within Proven Match Emotional and Social Intelligence measures, including self-discipline and self-control that help companies see the 'true' character of an individual.     

I found this article interesting regarding ethics and the correlation between one's personal life and professional life. Creating a culture that encourages doing the right thing.

CEO of Domino's shares insights on Autocratic Leadership Style

This article hit home for me. As many of you know one of the 7 assessment we use to determine the Top Performer Model for a franchise organization is "Leadership Style". We break Leadership Style into 4 categories: Autocratic (which is Patrick Doyle's topic in this article), Paternalistic, Democratic and Laissez-Faire. Rocco Fiorentino and His DIVCO Milk Truck



I just had to share this photo of Rocco Fiorentino, President of Swiss Farms. The DIVCO milk truck you see - Rocco recently refurbished. I love it! Many of you know I was born and raised in a small village in Switzerland. I spent many days at my best friend's dairy and apple farm. The farm has been in Annalee's family for over 350 years. When Rocco shared this photo with me a rush of wonderful memories filled my head and a smile crossed my face. I hope it does the same for you.

Welcome Aboard Fabutan!


Those Canadians know how to turn grey skies and cold winters into a day at the beach with a simple visit to a Fabutan Sun Tan Studio. 

Today, we welcome Fabutan to the Proven Match family of franchise clients. For those south of the Canadian border or in a land far away, let me introduce Tracey Warren, Director, Franchise Operations and Fabutan a franchise system with over 130 locations.
